Andio Lai loves to create device arts such as sound objects and alternative controllers. With various instrument technologies, some of his built creations are used in his own performance. His works were shown and presented in different art spaces. Influenced by comics and toys design, he usually begins an idea through sketching, further exploring the idea of playing in the process. With the practice of media archaeology, he is interested in the transformation of media technology by studying objects. His works usually converge the ideas of readymade and DIY practice while exploring the discourse of interaction. He is now into researching & studying, rediscovering art. Recently, he is interested in practicing audiovisual art in the live coding and desktop performance as a part of sonic officer.
