Funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, PolyU CPCE has established the “Jockey Club Future Laboratory of Arts Tech”. This project, nominated by the Chief Executive’s Community Project List 2022, has launched a three-year education initiative known as the “Jockey Club Arts Tech Imagineering Education Programme” starting from October 2023. The Programme features a series of community engagement events, school initiatives and artist-in-residence programmes, with the aim of fostering innovation by bringing together diverse participants from the community and encouraging the exchange of ideas and the creation of arts tech projects. This collaborative approach will cultivate the emerging trend which merges art and technology, while promoting cross-cultural collaboration to introduce new dimensions to the field of Arts Tech development.
