From the fragments of words, a new poetry arose: a Dada workshop now past, yet its spirit remains. Cut-up, collage, and automatism unlocked unexpected verses, revealing the hidden harmonies between human intention and technological assistance. The experience, a dance between chance and control, continues to inspire.
(Note) “Dada poetry” originates from Dadaism, a movement proposed by European art philosophers after World War I. It is an important genre in the development of 20th-century Western literature and art that seeks to break down existing frameworks, pursuing states of “serendipity,” “spontaneous,” and “unintentional” expression, while exploring the phenomenon of automatism in a pure state of mind.

Creating Digital Twin

Explore the art of creating digital humans in this dynamic workshop. We’ll kick things off with quick introductions, then dive right into the subtleties of animating a digital character.
We’ll have a brief talk about what goes into a digital human, setting you up with all the basics you need. Then, we’ll roll up our sleeves and get into the thick of it, showing you how to shape your own digital human.
To cap it all off, we’ll jump into demonstrating how to bring your character to the stage by making it move and interact in a virtual world.
* Participants are recommended to bring their own laptop with Meta Spark Studio installed.

Transforming Objects into Speakers

In this workshop, we will explore an uncommon type of speaker—the Transducer loudspeaker (a sound exciter). We will discover how it serves as a tool for showcasing sound creation, anchoring it within physical spaces. Participants will experience the vibrations produced by placing sound exciters on various objects, turning them into resonant speakers. Together, we will reflect on the unique physicality of sound as a medium.
The unseen made visible: our workshop on transducer loudspeakers unveiled the physicality of sound. Participants touched the vibrations, felt the resonance, and discovered a new dimension to the art of listening. The echoes remain, a testament to the power of tangible sound.
